Thinking like a geographer!
Herons are learning all about the geography of the area local to Anker Valley.
Today they have been on a walk around the estate and have, used a map to locate their position and to find out street names; some Herons were even able to find their own houses. They walked by the river and thought about why the roads were all named after flowers.
