Your class teacher is Mrs Free, and she is supported by Miss Garrett.
On Wednesday afternoons, Mrs Horlor will be teaching you.
On Friday afternoon, you will have music lessons with Rock It Music (Steel Pans, Keyboards and Ukeleles)
You will need your PE kits in school every week and earrings must be removed for PE lessons.
You will need your Library book in school every Friday.
Please have a pair of named wellington boots and a coat in school, as we will access the outdoor areas all year round.
Dragonflies have made a fabulous start to the new half term and have enjoyed listening to some more traditional tales this week, including the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff and Chicken Licken. We have also started learning two songs to perform during our Easter bonnet parade on 24th March and Miss Garrett and I cannot wait to see this year's bonnets!
This half term has flown by, and Miss Garrett and I are really proud of the progress the children in Dragonflies are making, we hope that you enjoyed looking at some of their work during your Parent Consultation appointments this week.
In Dragonflies this week, they have been reading the story of Little Red Riding Hood as part of their Fairy Tales unit of work.
It has been a busy week in Dragonflies!
This week in Dragonflies, the children have listened to the story of the Gingerbread Man.
The children in Dragonflies have been busy this week helping staff by making 'spider catchers'.

Dragonflies had a wonderful trip to West Midlands Safari Park on Monday 5th December - their first school trip!
On Thursday, Dragonflies, Herons and the children in Rainbow room joined together to make Christingles.
The children in Dragonflies have thoroughly enjoyed a delivery of boxes from Mrs Chyla this morning!
This week, the children in Dragonflies started their Mini Marathon Challenge by completing 5 laps of the playground.
This week, Dragonflies have listened to the story of 'The Colour Monster'. In this story, the Colour Monster wakes up feeling very confused. His emotions are all over the place; he feels angry, happy, calm, sad and scared all at once. To help him, a little girl shows him what each feeling means through colour. As a class we talked about the different feelings shown in the book and how we might know that somebody is feeling happy, angry, scared, or sad. We discussed the Calm Corner in our classroom and the types of things we could do in this area, for example, read a book, cuddle 'Mrs Sloth', sit quietly, practise breathing deeply or lie down on the cushions.
Dragonflies has their first indoor PE lesson on Wednesday afternoon.
