This afternoon, the children in Dragonflies have visited the farm at Glascote Primary Academy, which is one of the other schools in our Trust. Miss Phillips, who is the Outdoor Leader, showed Dragonflies around and talked to them about the different types of animals that live on the farm, including pigs, pygmy goats, ducks, chicken, rabbits, guinea pigs and alpacas. The children were able to feed and handle some of them. We had a lovely time, and it was a great way to start our 'On the Farm' theme.
