Dragonflies Visit to Parkridge Wildlife Centre
Dragonflies have had a fabulous first day back after the Easter holidays with a visit to the woodlands.
Today, Dragonflies travelled to Parkridge Wildlife Centre in Brueton Park, Solihull. They took part in a range of workshops in the woodland area including: bird spotting with binoculars, they built nests for ducks (and flamingos), went on a bug hunt, pretended to be bees collecting nectar to make honey, made fairy houses and finally created a magic potion to let the fairies know that they could return to their new houses! What a fabulous sunny start to our new half-term.
