Year 3 Laches Wood Residential
This week, children from Year 3 had the opportunity to spend their first night away from home at Laches Wood. The children had a fabulous time learning about the Stone Age through a variety of different activities, before settling down for the evening in the dormitories. The children were fabulous and a real credit to the school and their families. They even got a sneaky peek into some of the activities that they will do there on their Year 6 residential.
The children made stone-age jewellery, had a go at Spear throwing, recreated some cave painting and even tried their hand at fire lighting.
