Summer Reading Challenge 2024
This week, Wendy from Tamworth library came to speak to the children about this year’s Summer Reading Challenge. The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children to keep reading during the summer holidays, ensuring they are ready for a great start to the new term in the autumn. Children set a reading goal and collect rewards for reading anything they enjoy. Children can sign up at Tamworth library, and it’s FREE to take part.
This year’s challenge is called Marvellous Makers, and it’s all about creativity!
The Challenge starts on Saturday 6 July. Last year, we came second in Tamworth, and we would love for as many children as possible to take part this year. Please take photos and share your child’s reading on Tapestry and then bring their rewards to show in an assembly in September. Happy reading!
